I got a donation of peonies from a teenage girl, Ellie, in my neighborhood. We had already done deliveries at Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation earlier in the day. Peonies are her favorite flowers and she wanted to share the joy with someone. She dropped two bouquets off to be delivered.
I thought of another neighbor, Jean, right up the street from me. She is the sweetest friend. I can't think of anyone who would appreciate a kind gesture as much as she would. Her husband passed away not long ago and she misses him every day.
She loved the flowers and visit. Thanks Ellie for your thoughtfulness! You definitely brightened her day!
