Why Brightening Blooms?

We are a Charitable Service Organization that delivers happiness through recycled and donated flowers.  We repurpose unsold and once-used flowers into arrangements.  Volunteers then distribute these bouquets to those in Health Care Facilities, Assisted Living and Memory Care Facilities, Meals on Wheels of Cache County and many others.  Our goal is to brighten lives one bloom at a time.  We hope to share not only flowers, but a kind word and smile.

We started out by giving flowers we had grown to friends and neighbors who were sick,

hurt or otherwise in need of a kind gesture.  We found so much joy in this small act.  Recipients responded with heartfelt thanks.   We started Brightening Blooms to broaden the scope of recipients and provide opportunities for those who want to volunteer.

We are thrilled to have found that both giver and receiver benefit greatly from this act of kindness.

One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.  Shannon L. Alder

Our Mission

Brightening Blooms improves the lives of those in health care facilities by giving bouquets of flowers, words of encouragement and lots of smiles.

Our Mission

Our Vision

We want to share flowers and kindness with as many individuals as possible.  We know it brightens the lives of those who receive the bouquets and it certainly brightens our lives too.

"No act of kindness is too small.  The gift of kindness may start as a small ripple that over time can turn into a tidal wave affecting the lives of many." Kevin  Heath
